CENTER OF ETHNOPSYCHOLOGY

Centro Penc was born with the idea of  spreading Ethnopsychiatry through a competent clinic aimed at people in the balance between Worlds ​.
Centro Penc is a non-profit association founded in 2015 and recognized as an ONLUS in 2017; the association is registered in the First section of the Register of Associations carrying out activities in favor of immigrants of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies, and carries out social solidarity and mental health activities aimed at the most vulnerable people and their care givers.

Centro penc operates according to the principle that children and adolescents should be protected and that their protection is the priority of any intervention.

Maria Chiara Monti

President

  Psychologist and group analyst psychotherapist since 2010, expert in Ethnopsychology. In 2008 he founded and coordinated the Ethnopsychology Service at the "P. Giaccone" University Hospital in Palermo, and oversaw an extensive network work on the territory by connecting synergies and links between institutional and private social actors who deal with in various areas of migrant welfare.

Rosalia Terrana

Vice president

Psychologist and psychotherapist

systemic-familial at the Academy of Family Psychotherapy. Since 2015 she has been working in the migration field with a special focus on gender-based violence

Expert in tax consultancy and financial statements, he deals with the control and monitoring of the tax aspects of the Center and fulfills tax obligations.
